Works perfectly. Like most people said it's grey when u get it. I sprayed it liberally with clp and rubbed it in and it's jet black now.

It fit perfectly. The plastic it was made from was pretty oxidized though. A little touch up with armourall should fix it though.

I have got 3, of these deflectors. They work well and are an easy install. Just keep the spring under a little tention, You can put a little piece of paper under the spring to keep from scratching the reciever finish, and just pull it out later. You don't actually NEED them, but they are nice. I have them on 9mm and .22lr uppers. However of the three I got, only one was actually black, the other two were a dark grey. Think sun faded black plastic, like a car bumper. Dark grey, not Black. But no biggie, a coat of flat black paint and they were good. I put on two coats just because they are getting hit by flying brass

Product will work fine, I have another from another company that looks just like the picture, the one delivered is smokey grayish, it looks dried out and has a texture to it. I am sure it will work but it looks bad.

Using this on a CMT Tactical slick side upper. I cerakoted it in AI Dark Earth to match lower. Holds the cerakote just fine. Seems to be working but the brass doesn't hit it. I'm leaving it on until I fire suppressed to see if it helps with the gas. Must have magical fingers and an extremely positive disposition to get the tension spring installed. I just ended up leaving it out. Seems to sit where it should and stay put after 300 rounds so far.

Quality casting, had no issues with installation and fit perfectly.

Not much to say really. Found a small spring with it. Did not know what it was for but figured it out. Read other review here if you need instructions for install. I did not see it until I came here to write my review.

Ejection port and deflector work great on my rock river upper

This didn't come with directions and I was surprised to find a tiny spring with it. After I installed it the spring was obviously to keep the deflector tight against the top of the upper receiver. There is a small circular indent on the back where the spring sits. Its a little tricky to get it to stay as you assembly this to the door assembly. YOU WILL NEED a top rail vise attachment to put your barrel on and get the barrel nut timed to the gas tube hole especially if you put a quad rail hand guard on. My rail times off the nut to prevent rotation.
